What is Action Photography?
Action photography is all about capturing the thrill, excitement, and energy of fast-paced moments. Shooting action photos can be both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
Capturing the Movement
Action photography aims to freeze or blur the motion of a subject to create a sense of dynamism and energy.
Anticipation and Timing
Success in action photography often relies on anticipating the peak of the action and timing the shot accordingly.
Techniques
These often involve high shutter speeds that can freeze the action, panning and creative blur using slower shutter speeds. Additional techniques include anticipation of the moment, pre-focusing and using the burst mode on your camera.
