About VCC Workshops
Workshops are one of the great benefits of VCC membership. They cover a wide variety of themes and techniques and are free to all VCC members.
Each year, the VCC Workshop Committee develops a schedule of workshops, image reviews, and Presenters Nights based on input from our members through the Annual Workshop Survey.
A Look at the Success of Our 2025–26 Workshops
So just how popular are our workshops?
We’re very pleased with the success of the 2025–2026 workshop season. We tracked attendance and registrations throughout the year, and here’s what we found:
- Nearly three-quarters of VCC members (73.9%) took part in workshops, image reviews, or Presenters Nights
- 178 members participated, with more than half attending multiple sessions
- 1,270 total registrations across all events
- An average of 7.2 sessions per participant
- 2,805 hours of learning delivered
Behind these numbers:
- 27 workshops, 9 image reviews, and 7 Presenters Nights
- 14 external educators and 13 VCC volunteers
- 4 in-person sessions at Camosun College, alongside Zoom events
