Glenn Bloodworth: Nature
Glenn is a visual artist, with degrees from Algonquin College’s Photographic Techniques Program, and the School of Photographic Arts Ottawa (SPAO), receiving a diploma in Photographic Arts and Production. He works primarily in medium-format film and composite digital fine art, and his pieces are held in public and private collections in Canada and abroad, including the City of Ottawa’s Art Collection. He exhibits extensively in Ottawa as well as nationally and internationally. He has been featured in various press media, accorded numerous awards, and has published, including “Fine Art Photography” in the Canadian Camera, Spring 2021. In January 2022 he was named LUXlife magazine’s “Landscape Photographer of the Year (Ontario)”.
Glenn has been a member of Ottawa’s RA Photo Club since 2007 including being a Past Chair.
Glenn is a Certified Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) Judge since 2012 and judges extensively in Canadian and international photographic competitions. He is a senior trainer for CAPA’s judging course and a senior assessor in its judges’ certification system. He is the immediate past Director of CAPA’s judging Program. In 2020 Glenn was invested as a Fellow (FCAPA) of CAPA.

Richard Robesco: Open
Born and raised in Montreal, Richard has been an avid photographer since he was a young teenager. He started his working career in the early 1970’s as a filmmaker and television program producer and worked on hundreds of documentary films mainly for the National Film Board. He moved to Ottawa in 1980 and continued his work as a TV producer. He was hired by the Government of Canada as Director of the Government Film and Video Centre in Ottawa, producing up to 800 new programs per year for federal government departments and agencies. This led to a 30-year career as a government executive, from which he retired in 2013.
After retirement, Richard then enrolled in the Diploma Program at the School of the Photographic Arts, Ottawa (SPAO), graduating in 2015. He started his full time photo-based art practice shortly after and has held several solo exhibitions in and around Ottawa and Gatineau. He has participated in many group exhibitions, receiving several awards, and has seen his work published in books and magazines.
Richard is also currently the Vice-President of the Management Board of the Daïmôn Production Centre which is an artist-run media production centre in Gatineau, Quebec. Richard became a CAPA Certified Judge in 2022 and received his full certification in 2024.

Gilles Vezina: Theme (Pattern and Design)
Gilles is a Gatineau/Ottawa based photographer specialized in dance, event and travel photography. He is also at ease with nature, portraits and sports photography.
Gilles has led numerous interest groups and photography workshops. Gilles likes working with individuals and groups to improve their photographic and artistic abilities. During the pandemic, he developed his skills and knowledge in video making and editing.
He is a member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) and became a Certified Judge 2010.

Karen Stoyles: People
Karen’s association with the Western Photographic Circle (WPC) since 1987 has given her significant motivation in the pursuit of technical excellence in photographic art through a monthly peer review of prints from many talented fine art photographers from the Lower Mainland.
Karen has been judging at camera clubs, photographic salons and various photographic competitions for over 25 years. She always likes to take the time and encourage photographers with helpful suggestions and positive comments.

Sue Olsen: Altered Reality
Susan’s serious pursuit of photography started with a series of courses at Metro College in Edmonton and continued through to a photography certificate program at Langara College in Vancouver.
Over time, Susan’s art has taken shape – she no longer sees herself taking a photo but creating an image. Sue loves the studio where she engages in dance photography and creative portraiture. She also likes wildlife, waterscape, water drop and close-up photography. Her work has been displayed and juried in local competitions and Photo Club shows.
Susan is a member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) and became a CAPA Certified Judge in 2021. She is currently the Vice President of the Richmond Photo Club and their Competition’s Chair.

Gregg Eligh: All Print Categories
Gregg is a now retired commercial photographer, having worked in Vancouver, Toronto and Victoria since the 70s. His commercial work has been directed towards advertising, editorial, catalogue and corporate assignments.
Occasional teaching, coaching and workshops further developed Gregg’s skills and knowledge as well as contributing to his ‘community’. “Imagination is better than knowledge”.
